Choui Fong Tea Plantation is easily accessible en-route from Chiang Rai city to the golden triangle. There are no plantation tours as such, but there are two casual restaurants with tea-tasting and tea leaf sales.
There are some good viewpoints to see the tea fields on the undulating hills, and places where you can walk a little way into the tea fields to take photos.
Beyond the tea fields, you can see several slopes cropped with pineapple.
The main processing plant is not open to visitors, but the adjoining visitor center offers tea tasting, a restaurant, good views, and of course sales of tea and tea-infused products such as soap and shampoos.
