Itinerary Detail
The morning show at Mae Sa Elephant Camp starts at 9:40 am.
There is opportunity to walk around the grounds, and see the elephants up close. Sugar cane and bananas are sold on site so you can feed the elephants.
If you would like to ride the elephants, you can buy tickets for wooden-basket style rides at the elephant camp.
It will be late morning by the time you are finished at Mae Sa Elephant camp.
You can choose from several activities in the Mae Rim district including Baan Tong Luang (demonstration hill tribe village), Tiger Kingdom, and Cobra Show.

Visit the Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm. The main attractions are the rows of hanging orchids, and a walk-in butterfly enclosure.
Take a break for lunch. A set-menu or buffet meal is included in the tour package. Let your guide know if you would prefer to use the lunch budget towards an a-la-carte restaurant of your choosing.
In the Afternoon we drive back to the city, and drive up Doi Suthep mountain.
Drive up Doi Suthep mountain to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (Doi Suthep Temple)
This is the most famous temple in Chiang Mai. A truly beautiful temple, and good views of the city on clear days.
We then continue to a nearby peak to see Doi Pui Hmong Village.
The village has a market selling trinkets and some locally made items. The main attraction is the garden above the village.
