For most visitors to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highlight is hiking one of the two nature trails: Pha Dok Siew, or Kew Mae Pan.
This itinerary is designed for visitors who want to hike both nature trails, and to stay overnight within the national park at Mae Klang Luang Village.

Day 2 – Doi Inthanon to Chiang Mai

To avoid crowds in the National Park, we do not operate this tour from 28th December to 1st January inclusive.
Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail is closed from May-October each year.

Attraction Substitutions
- Mae Ya Waterfall can be substituted for Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail when it is closed from May to October each year.
- Pha Chor Canyon is sometimes closed in March/April for maintenance, and if you also skip Mae Klang Waterfall then there is time for Mae Ya Waterfall.

Yes, this is a common request – a vegetarian or vegan lunch is available on both group and private tours. Let us know during booking and, to avoid delays at lunch, don’t be shy about reminding your guide on the morning of the tour.
No, the lunch restaurant is not halal certified. For private tours we can sometimes arrange halal lunch boxes to bring from the city. Check with us, we will do our best to help, but may not have the staff available in peak season.
For private tours we may be able to bring a kosher lunch from Chiang Mai Chabad House – but due to the hours of operation we need to pickup the previous evening so this service is limited to foods that will safely keep overnight.
