Su Tong Pae is a lengthy bamboo walking bridge to the north of Mae Hong Son town.
The bridge spans rice fields and waterways, connecting the village of Ban Gung Mai Sak with Wat Phu Sama temple.. This is a great spot to stretch your legs and enjoy the pastoral village scenery.
Both ends of the bridge are accessible by road, but the route between is indirect, so it is best to choose one side to arrive by vehicle. The iconic photos are generally taken from the western side, and are best in the morning. In the afternoon, you will have better light from the Temple side (east).
