Ban Jabo is a Black Lahu village in Pang Mapha District, Mae Hong Son. Long known for its spectacular view, it is more recently famous for Jabo Noodle – a restaurant with floor-seating where you may dangle your legs over the edge and immerse yourself in the mountain views.

Noodle Soup House Ban Jabo
This is the iconic setting that attracts most visitors. It gets cery crowded around lunch-time, but the views are spectacular.

They manage to feed a lot of people by keeping the menu simple. You may order pork noodle soup, or for variation you may have pork noodles without the soup! Good coffee is at hand, though you may need to wait when it is busy.
Dekdoi Coffee Jabo
If you want to prioritize tasting the local coffee, make a bee-line for Dekdoi Coffee.
This is also a good place for lunch, with a more expansive menu and generally less crowded than the Noodle House Ban Jabo.

Black Lahu (Muser Dam) Village
If you can take your eyes off the mountain views, the village itself has its own charms.

There is also the larger village of Ban Mae Lanna, and some explorable (with local guide please) caves, in the valley below.
