Congratulations on reaching the highest point in Thailand! Your elevation is 2565.3341 meters above sea level.
This is also one of the coldest places in Thailand – with overnight temperatures dropping close to freezing on a regular basis, at least the hydrangeas are happy!

The main features at the summit are:
- A small museum hightlighting the diverse high-altitude flora and fauna of Doi Inthanon
- Yod Doi Nature Trail is a short boardwalk that takes you past the summit marker, a nearby shrine, and (slightly lower!) a large sign indicating you are at the highest point of Thailand.

Temperatures here hover around 15°C. A light jacket makes things comfortable… or you can keep moving until you are ready to descend back down the mountain.

The easiest way to see Doi Inthanon National Park is on a day tour. A group tour runs every day, and we arrange private day tours on demand.
