Wachirathan Waterfall is the most popular waterfall within Doi Inthanon National Park. It is picturesque and has good water flow year-round. For most of the year it is a series of falls, but after heavy rains it becomes a single raging torrent of 80m from top to bottom.

Due to both safety and sustainability concerns, swimming at the waterfall is not permitted. The falls are only a short walk from the carpark, but the steps can be a mobility challenge, especially when wet.
If visiting during the rainy season the spray from the waterfall creates a constant mist and many visitors choose to wear a light rain jacket for protection (also useful elsewhere in the national park at thsi tiem of year).

There are restrooms at the lower-tier car park, and also some restaurants that are a reasonable option for lunch.
