Kho Ku So Bamboo Bridge is a scenic attraction to the south-west of Pai. It takes 30 minutes to drive. The road is quite rough out past Pam Bok Waterfall, and is difficult after periods of heavy rain.

The best time to visit is early in the rainy season (late May to end of July) for lush green rice fields. It is also very green in August / September, but it may be difficult to access by road in the wet conditions. October is significantly drier and you can then see golden rice fields ready for harvest.
November to January is good dry and relatively cool weather to visit, but you will only see rice stubble after harvest.

Besides the seasonal changes, the location of Kho Ku So and the lack of other nearby attractions makes it a challenge to include in an itinerary, so visitors often combine this with a stop at Pam Bok Waterfall and other attractions to the south of Pai such as Pai Canyon and Pai Memorial Bridge
