Itinerary Detail
Day 1 – Araksa Tea & Tha Ton

Continuing north, there are various places you can stop to break up the journey, we recommend a stop at Huai Lek Royal project – an agricultural research station with a produce market.
At the northern tip of Chiang Mai province you reach the sleepy town of Tha Ton. There is a good viewpoint at a temple above the river, and a number of good accommodation options here.

Day 2 – Mae Salong & Chiang Rai
Check out from your Tha Ton accommodation after a relaxed breakfast. The road now turns up into the mountains and you will start to see Akha villages and farmlands.
Your destination for the morning is Mae Salong, one of several Yunnanese enclave villages in the far North of Thailand.
